SAN FRANCISCO NEIGHBORHOOD MEDIAN HOME SALES PRICE MAP - COMPASS

 

This map reflects median home sales prices and dollar per square foot values across San Francisco neighborhoods for sales reported to the NORCAL MLS® ALLIANCE in the 12 months through mid-December 2025. Click on the icon to pull up the data for the specific neighborhood, then click on the X to return to the map. The median sales price is that price at which half the sales occurred for more and half for less. It is a very general statistic that disguises a wide number of sales of different prices, and it can be affected by other factors besides changes in fair market value. (New sales are reported constantly, which often change median home values.) 12-month sales data removes the effects of market seasonality on home values, and provides a larger, more reliable data set, but may lag short-term changes.

It is impossible to know how median and average value statistics apply to any particular home without a specific comparative market analysis. Below Market Rate (BMR) condos were excluded from this analysis.
