There can be no doubt that Larkspur’s dining scene is one of the best around. Several popular restaurants and highly-rated eateries can be found lining the streets, including Farmshop. This innovative and market-driven restaurant is dedicated to serving the best of local Californian cuisine. A true farm-to-table concept, their menu includes delights like seared Scottish salmon, a beautiful red wine braised short rib, and a fantastic poached chicken salad that guests absolutely adore. 
 
Restaurant Picco serves a unique and modern approach to classic Italian cuisine, with an exciting menu with outstanding dishes like mesquite-grilled hen of the woods mushroom, gnocchi with fennel sausage, and roasted pork and beef meatballs with San Marzano tomatoes.
 
When residents are in the mood for Burmese and Asian fusion, again there’s no better place than Burmatown. This world-class restaurant  is an intimate, yet casual Michelin Star restaurant which features a mixture of Burmese cuisine along with innovative asian fusion dishes.

The Marin Country Mart is an open-air shopping village that offers guests a wide selection of world-class brand-name stores, exceptional dining opportunities, and a variety of annual and weekly events. The much-beloved local Farmers Market can be found here every Saturday all year round, making it one of the most popular weekend destinations in town. 

When Larkspur residents hope to get out and enjoy the beautiful landscape around them, they’ll almost certainly end up visiting Baltimore Canyon. With over 193-acres of preserved secluded land, this stunning National Park is home to jaw-dropping redwood trees, 30-foot cascading waterfalls, and beautiful and diverse woodlands that offer the perfect escape for anyone hoping for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of city life.
